E-Readers

OK, so I'm considering buying an e-reader.  I'm leaning toward the NOOK Simple Touch because it has a very long reading life and I don't really need the extra bells and whistles.  Can anyone give me feedback on their e-readers and what they love/hate about them?

  1. Personally, I have a Kindle Fire. I bought it, because I read really interesting reviews about this device. It has so many features and I can have on it my eBooks downloaded from All you can books. I found out about this site from a good friend.
So, in my opinion, it doesn't matter the e-reader you'll choose, because all of them are very good and you'll have a great experience.

  2. I have owned a few of them now, and the only drawback to the Simple Touch was that it has almost no room for storage on it without adding an SD card to it. The Kindle Fire was great, but it had no expansion slot (SD slot) at all, and the Nook Color (not Tablet) had some issues with the browser freezing up. The newer Tablet version would probably not have these issues because they upgraded the processor and RAM. But yea, cost. If you don't care about the bells and whistles at all, the Simple Touch would be great once you add 20 bucks worth of SD card to it. They have a new version with a light built in too, if you read in the dark like me hehe. Miss you! Miss talking and trading books, and hanging out with you!

  3. I've owned a few of these now, and the Simple Touch would be great as long as you don't mind not having all the extra toys. Also, the built in RAM is a bit on the small side, and you'll probably want to pop an SD card in for expansion. They even have a new one with a glowing display for reading in the dark! Hope you are doing well, miss hanging out with you guys!
